Win a £370,000 London flat—or cash—for just £5 in this raffle

A two-bedroom flat in Tottenham, North London, is being sold through an online raffle for just £5 per ticket. Owner Gina Sapsted hopes the scheme will help first-time buyers get onto the property ladder while offering a chance to win a £370,000 home—or a £300,000 cash alternative. This is Sapsted’s second attempt at selling her flat via raffle. Her idea came after watching a documentary about unethical estate agents and reading about DIY property competitions. She believes older generations could support younger buyers by redirecting funds from home sales.

The raffle offers two main prizes: the flat itself or a £300,000 cash sum. The winner will also receive two tickets to a concert at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this summer. If ticket sales fall short, Sapsted plans to use 5% of the proceeds to assist a first-time buyer in purchasing the property. Five per cent of all ticket sales will go to the homeless charity All People All Places (APAP). The competition closes on May 31 at 10pm, with the winner announced shortly after.

Sapsted’s approach aims to make homeownership more accessible while supporting charity. The raffle provides an unconventional route to buying property, with proceeds either funding a new home or contributing to a good cause. Entries remain open until the end of May.
