Signicat Appoints Emma Bauer as Global Chief Product Officer Amid Expansion

Signicat has named Emma Bauer as its new Global Chief Product Officer. She will lead the company’s product strategy as it expands its cross-border identity and authentication services. Bauer brings a strong background in scaling technology businesses and managing distributed teams. Bauer joins Signicat during a key growth phase. The company has built its platform through eight acquisitions, serving regulated industries and public sector clients. Its solutions help organisations navigate differing consumer habits and evolving regulations across Europe.

The European digital identity market remains uneven. Nordic countries show high adoption, while Southern Europe relies on more fragmented systems. Signicat’s platform aims to bridge these gaps by offering standardised authentication tools. In her new role, Bauer will oversee product development for the firm’s Software-as-a-Service offering. Her focus will include integrating artificial intelligence while ensuring compliance with regional regulations. She cited Signicat’s mission, company culture, and market position as key reasons for joining the team.

Bauer’s appointment comes as Signicat strengthens its leadership to support further scaling. Her experience in product growth and distributed teams will guide the company’s next phase. The move aligns with Signicat’s push to simplify identity verification in a complex regulatory landscape.
