Russia's Exporter of the Year 2024 Now Open for Applications Until May 31
The Russian Export Center (REC) has launched this year’s Exporter of the Year: Made in Russia National Award. Applications are open until May 31, with businesses of all sizes encouraged to take part. The competition aims to highlight achievements in non-commodity and non-energy exports across multiple industries. The event is organised by the REC, which operates under the VEB.RF Group. It supports companies by providing both financial and non-financial assistance for exports outside traditional sectors like oil and gas.
The competition runs in two stages. First, regional selections take place across federal districts. Winners then advance to the national finals. Participants must be Russian organisations with no outstanding tax debts.
This year’s awards feature a wide range of categories. Main sectors include industry, agribusiness, food, fashion, beauty, high-tech, IT, film, animation, and tourism. Special recognitions go to Woman Exporter of the Year, New Markets, Marketing Breakthrough, and Global Expansion of Retail & Digital Platforms.
Applications are submitted online through the award’s official website. Only a taxpayer identification number (INN) is required, while small and medium-sized enterprises must also provide an extract from the unified register. The competition is integrated with the Made in Russia national promotion program, offering extra benefits to companies holding its mark of approval. The deadline for entries is May 31. Successful participants will gain recognition and potential support from the REC. The awards highlight Russia’s push to strengthen non-commodity exports across diverse industries.
