Improvement planned for Armavir's energy supply, as announced by the governor

In the heart of Krasnodar Krai's Cheryomushki district, concerns about summer power outages have been raised by resident Elena Ivchenko at a recent meeting. As the region grapples with these issues, efforts are underway to enhance the power infrastructure.

Evgeny Pergun, the First Deputy Governor, has announced plans to introduce new power capacities and upgrade the power lines in the city. From 2025 to 2029, a total of 2 billion rubles will be invested in projects that include 1.8 megavolt-amperes of new capacities and 58 kilometers of power lines.

However, it's important to note that the current percentage of wear on electrical networks in the city stands at around 63%. This wear and tear can lead to problems like power outages, as highlighted by Ms. Ivchenko.

As of mid-2025, detailed public information on power infrastructure projects or outage mitigation specific to the Cheryomushki district has not been widely reported or updated in accessible sources. To stay informed about the latest developments, it's recommended to consult the official website of the Krasnodar Krai administration or its regional energy department, local utility companies responsible for electricity distribution, and regional news outlets covering infrastructure projects in Krasnodar Krai.

Notably, "Rosseti Kuban" and "Electroseti Kubani" have been actively working on improving the power infrastructure. Last year, "Electroseti Kubani" funded the introduction of 2.5 megavolt-amperes of transformer capacity and around 1.7 km of power lines. This year, they plan to replace 5 substations and 14 km of power lines, and by 2028, they aim to introduce another 1.26 megavolt-amperes and build 58 km of power lines.

Moreover, "Rosseti Kuban" completed the reconstruction of three substations at the Armavir TPP in 2024. The governor has also ordered the design and installation of a new line on Kasparov Street to be completed by the end of this year, addressing another issue raised by residents.

Veniamin Kondratyev, the regional head, acknowledged the sensitivity of the electricity issue, affecting both enterprises and residents' comfort. He emphasized that finding a solution is crucial.

In conclusion, while efforts are being made to improve the power infrastructure in the Cheryomushki district, residents and interested parties are encouraged to stay informed by consulting official sources and local news outlets for the most up-to-date information.

The industry and finance sectors are playing significant roles in enhancing the power infrastructure, as evidenced by the investments being made by companies like Rosseti Kuban and Electroseti Kubani. The energy sector, particularly, is working diligently to replace aged power lines, upgrade power substations, and introduce new transformer capacities in the region, including the Cheryomushki district.
