UAE Launches Huawei-Powered Cloud Platform for Chinese Business Expansion

A new cloud platform has launched in the UAE to help Chinese businesses expand into the region. Called National Hypercloud – Huawei Edition, it was developed by du, a major telecom and digital services provider. The platform targets Chinese electric vehicle manufacturers and SMEs looking to enter Middle Eastern markets. The platform simplifies market entry by offering a single solution for hosting, compliance, and connectivity. It removes the need for companies to coordinate multiple service providers when setting up operations in the UAE. Data remains stored within the country while meeting performance demands for modern automotive and tech businesses.

Local hosting is combined with full alignment to UAE regulatory standards. This ensures Chinese enterprises operate smoothly within the legal and commercial framework. Jasim Alawadi, Chief ICT Officer at du, confirmed the platform provides secure data exchange and robust connectivity through one integrated partner. The UAE is using this initiative to strengthen its role as a hub for sustainable mobility and clean technology investment. The platform’s secure infrastructure supports Chinese firms in scaling their operations across the region.

The National Hypercloud – Huawei Edition is now available for Chinese businesses expanding into the UAE. It offers a streamlined way to manage data, compliance, and connectivity under one system. The move aligns with the UAE’s push to attract investment in green technology and electric vehicle sectors.
