LANDBANK slashes InstaPay fees to boost cashless transactions in 2026

LANDBANK has cut its InstaPay transfer fees for person-to-person (P2P) transactions by nearly half. The new rate drops from ₱15 to ₱8, taking effect on 21 May 2026. The bank’s goal is to make digital payments more affordable and push for a cash-lite economy. The reduced ₱8 fee applies to P2P transfers made through the Landbank Mobile Banking App and iAccess. Alongside this change, customers will still receive one free InstaPay transfer per day for amounts up to ₱1,000.

Finance Secretary and LANDBANK Chair Frederick Go highlighted how lower transaction costs help bring more Filipinos into the formal financial system. The bank is also preparing to eliminate fees for person-to-government (P2G) payments in select transactions soon.

LANDBANK president and CEO Lynette Ortiz reaffirmed the bank’s focus on financial inclusion. She stressed that affordable digital banking solutions play a key role in making services accessible to more people. The fee reduction aims to lower the cost of daily financial transactions. By making digital payments cheaper, LANDBANK hopes to encourage wider use of cashless channels. The changes align with the bank’s push for a more inclusive and efficient financial system.
