Yakutia updates 2025 insurance rules for self-employed professionals and sole traders
Self-employed professionals in Yakutia now face updated rules for fixed insurance contributions in 2025. The new requirements apply to sole traders, lawyers, notaries, and other specified groups. A deadline shift and income-based adjustments have also been introduced to the system. The fixed insurance contribution for 2025 has been set at 53,658 rubles. This applies to sole proprietors, lawyers, notaries, bankruptcy trustees, appraisers, and heads of peasant households. Those earning over 300,000 rubles annually must pay an extra 1% on the amount exceeding that threshold by July 1, 2026.
Certain groups can avoid these payments under specific conditions. Exemptions cover periods like mandatory military service or childcare leave until a child turns 1.5 years old. To qualify, taxpayers must submit Form KND 1150081 along with supporting documents. The payment deadline in Yakutia has been extended to December 28, 2025. However, since that date falls on a weekend, contributions must be settled by December 29 instead. The Federal Tax Service offers an online 'Insurance Contribution Calculator' to help individuals determine their obligations.
Taxpayers must now meet the new contribution rules by the adjusted deadline. Those with higher incomes will face an additional charge, while eligible exemptions remain available upon application. The online calculator provides a straightforward way to verify payment amounts before submission.
