VinFast's VF MPV 7 electric family car debuts in the Philippines with bold incentives

VinFast has launched its latest electric vehicle, the VF MPV 7, in the Philippines. The seven-seater targets families looking for a spacious and eco-friendly upgrade from traditional MPVs. Orders open on May 5, 2026, with early buyers receiving special incentives. The VF MPV 7 runs on a 150 kW electric motor paired with a 60.13 kWh battery. On a full charge, it delivers a driving range of up to 450 km. Fast-charging capability allows the battery to go from 10% to 70% in around 30 minutes.

The vehicle’s dimensions—4,740 mm long, 1,872 mm wide, and 1,734 mm tall—provide ample space for passengers and cargo. With a wheelbase of 2,840 mm, the interior offers flexibility, including up to 1,240 litres of cargo capacity when seats are folded.

VinFast is offering two purchase options: PHP 1,518,000 with the battery included or PHP 1,239,000 under a battery subscription plan. The subscription fee is PHP 2,700 for up to 2,000 km per month and PHP 4,150 for distances beyond that. The first 1,000 customers will get one year of free battery subscription for up to 2,000 km monthly.

To support adoption, VinFast is providing free charging at its V-Green stations across the Philippines until March 2029. The vehicle also comes with a 7-year or 160,000 km warranty, while the battery is covered for 10 years or 200,000 km.

Antonio Zara, CEO of VinFast Southeast Asia, highlighted the launch as a key move in the company’s global growth. He also reaffirmed VinFast’s long-term commitment to the Philippine market. The VF MPV 7 enters the market with competitive pricing and strong warranty coverage. Early buyers benefit from promotional offers, including free battery subscriptions and charging. The model aims to make electric family vehicles more accessible in the region.
