Frenos Offers Free AI-Powered Security Test for Critical Infrastructure
Frenos has launched a free, one-day assessment to help critical infrastructure operators test their defences. The Mythos Readiness Assessment uses AI-driven simulations to uncover vulnerabilities without disrupting live systems. Designed by former OT security experts, it provides a risk-free way to identify attack paths in industrial environments. The assessment creates a digital twin of an organisation’s OT environment, allowing it to run simulations without scanning, agents, or hardware. No production systems are touched, ensuring zero operational impact. Instead, AI reasoning agents map out how attackers might exploit weaknesses, ranking each path by feasibility and potential damage.
At the S4x26 conference, Frenos demonstrated its speed by completing 154,000 attack path simulations in just over 17 minutes. The test validated 18 distinct attack routes, showing how quickly vulnerabilities can be pinpointed. Customers receive a detailed breakdown of the most likely adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), alongside the most effective countermeasures. The results are presented in a Mythos Readiness Scorecard, tailored for review by boards, auditors, and regulators. This report highlights the highest-risk attack paths and prioritises mitigations. Frenos developed the tool as a direct response to the growing threat posed by AI-powered adversaries, offering operators a fast, no-cost way to assess their readiness.
