Singapore's $100M White Rabbit Superyacht Redefines Luxury with Trimaran Design
Singaporean billionaire Goh Cheng Liang has unveiled the White Rabbit, a groundbreaking superyacht worth $100 million. The vessel stands out not just for its price tag but for its innovative design as the world’s largest trimaran. At 275 feet long, it offers both luxury and cutting-edge engineering.
One of its most personal touches is a dedicated mahjong room, added by Goh to encourage family bonding. Beyond this, the yacht features multiple entertainment spaces, including a second gaming area and a karaoke lounge.
The White Rabbit breaks from tradition with its trimaran structure, which provides more interior space and stability than standard monohulls of the same size. Its 20-metre beam—five metres wider than comparable yachts—adds to the comfort and roominess. The design also improves fuel efficiency and reduces noise, thanks to its diesel-electric propulsion system.
Performance-wise, the yacht reaches a top speed of 18.7 knots while using just 4.2MW of power. This efficiency, combined with its quieter operation, makes it a standout in eco-conscious luxury yachting. While impressive, the *White Rabbit* remains far less extravagant than the world’s priciest superyachts. The *History Supreme*, coated in gold and platinum, holds the top spot at $4.8 billion. Roman Abramovich’s *Eclipse* follows as the second most expensive, valued at $1.5 billion.
Goh Cheng Liang’s White Rabbit blends personal touches with advanced maritime technology. Its spacious, stable design and eco-friendly power system set it apart from conventional superyachts. The vessel now joins an elite class of luxury yachts, though at a fraction of the cost of the most extravagant examples.
