Serabi Gold declares 5p final dividend as Brazil expansion accelerates
Serabi Gold plc has proposed a final dividend of 5.0 pence per ordinary share. The UK-based miner, which also operates from Toronto, continues to expand its operations in Brazil’s Tapajós region. Shareholders will receive payments in either GBP or CAD, depending on their registered location.
The company’s board announced the dividend alongside key dates for payment. Shareholders on the UK register will receive funds in GBP, while those in Canada will be paid in CAD. The exchange rate for Canadian payments will be set on 30 June 2026, based on the closing Sterling:Canadian Dollar rate. The ex-dividend date is 25 June 2026, with a record date of 26 June 2026 and a payment date of 10 July 2026.
Serabi Gold’s Annual General Meeting is scheduled for 18 June 2026. The firm currently produces between 30,000 and 40,000 ounces of gold annually from its Palito Complex in northern Brazil. Plans are underway to boost production to around 55,000 ounces in 2026, driven by the ramp-up of the Coringa Gold mine. Recently, the company also announced a new copper-gold porphyry discovery within its exploration licence area. This find adds to its growing portfolio in the resource-rich Tapajós region.
The dividend payment follows a period of steady production and new discoveries for Serabi Gold. With increased output expected from Coringa, the company aims to strengthen its position in Brazil’s mining sector. Shareholders will receive their payments according to the announced schedule and currency rules.
