Primorsky Krai sees mixed price swings in travel and groceries by April 2026

Residents of Primorsky Krai have seen notable price shifts in both travel and groceries during April 2026. While some destinations have become significantly cheaper, others now cost more. At the same time, fresh produce prices have moved in different directions, affecting household budgets. Travel costs have changed sharply for locals planning trips abroad. Package holidays to countries in Central and Southeast Asia dropped by 31%, making them far more affordable. Visits to China also became 2% cheaper, offering additional savings for travellers.

In contrast, vacations in Turkey have risen in price. Package tours to the country now cost 9% more than before, marking a noticeable increase for those looking to visit. Closer to home, holidays on Russia’s Black Sea coast saw a modest price cut of 3%, providing a slight relief for domestic travellers. Meanwhile, grocery prices have fluctuated. Bell peppers and fresh cucumbers both fell in cost, with decreases of 6% and 5% respectively. However, onions and table beets became more expensive, rising by 6% and 7%.

The changes mean residents now face a mix of opportunities and challenges. Cheaper flights to parts of Asia and lower prices for some vegetables may ease budgets. Yet, higher costs for Turkish holidays and certain produce could offset some of these savings.
