Knorr-Bremse achieves five-year high in Q1 revenue and profit

Knorr-Bremse has reported its strongest first-quarter performance in five years. The company saw revenue of €1.94 billion across its rail and commercial vehicle divisions. Profits and margins also climbed during the period. Net profit rose to €160 million in the first three months of the year. This marks an increase from €143 million in the same quarter last year. Adjusted earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) grew by nearly 11 percent, reaching just under €261 million.

The company’s operating margin also improved. It climbed by 1.4 percentage points to 13.5 percent. Strong demand in both rail and commercial vehicle sectors contributed to the results. Knorr-Bremse’s first-quarter figures show growth in profit, revenue, and margins. The results reflect the company’s best start to a year since 2019. Analysts will watch whether this momentum continues in the coming months.
