Fireblocks and ARP Digital Team Up to Transform Gulf Cross-Border Payments
A new partnership between Fireblocks and ARP Digital is set to improve cross-border payments in the Gulf region. The collaboration will enable compliant stablecoin and fiat transactions across major GCC currencies. Both companies aim to fill a longstanding gap in digital payment infrastructure. Fireblocks launched its Network for Payments in 2025 to support stablecoin transactions, fiat conversions, and cross-border settlements in over 100 countries. However, accessing Gulf markets has remained a challenge due to regulatory and settlement hurdles. The region, a key remittance hub, has seen limited compliant access for international providers.
ARP Digital has now joined as the regulated settlement partner for the GCC corridor. Operating under a Crypto Assets Service Provider licence from the Central Bank of Bahrain, the firm offers live local currency rails and institutional-grade fiat settlement. Its infrastructure has already processed over $3.5 billion in transactions and serves more than 450 corporate clients.
Ran Goldi, SVP of Payments and Network at Fireblocks, explained that the network relies on regulated local partners in major financial hubs. Abdulaziz Kanoo, Co-Founder of ARP Digital, added that his company serves as the compliant entry point for institutions using Fireblocks in the Gulf.
The partnership simplifies access for global FinTechs and financial firms. A single integration now connects them to compliant payment and settlement systems for currencies like the UAE dirham and Bahraini dinar. The deal links Fireblocks’ global network to regulated settlement rails in key GCC markets. Financial institutions can now process cross-border transactions more efficiently in the region. This addresses a persistent need for scalable, compliant payment solutions in the Gulf.
