Emergency Repair on A27 Causes Month-Long Closure, Detours

The A27 between Bremen and Bremerhaven is currently experiencing disruptions due to an emergency repair. The steel pipe of the tunnel has been damaged, leading to a full closure and rerouting of traffic via detours.

The repair work is expected to take several weeks, with partial closures anticipated after the initial emergency phase. The damaged steel pipe will be replaced with a glass fiber pipe during the emergency repair. To facilitate this, a construction pit has been set up. Once the makeshift construction is completed, the A27 will be partially passable again before the work is fully finished.

The repair is scheduled to be completed by the end of March. For the latest information on the repair order, it is recommended to check the official websites of the responsible authorities, such as the Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure or the regional road construction authorities.

Motorists are advised to plan their journeys accordingly and follow the detour signs. The emergency repair of the A27 is progressing, with a target completion date of the end of March. Regular updates on the repair process can be found on the official websites of the relevant authorities.
