  • You must already hold a current account with DKB to open a children's account. If you do, you can start the application directly via the "Open U18 Current Account Now" option.
  • The bonus applies only if you apply for both the U18 current account and the U18 savings account. You can select these during the application process.
  • All applications must be submitted by the end of the promotional period on April 30, 2026, with both accounts fully opened by May 31, 2026 at the latest.
  • All legal guardians of the child, as well as the child themselves, must be verified via ID or birth certificate. The second guardian can complete this either through the online banking mailbox or via WebID, DKB's partner for digital identity verification.

How to Claim Your DKB Children's Account Bonus

Once you've submitted your applications on time and successfully opened both the children's current account and savings account, the €25 bonus will be credited to you. The payment will be processed by June 15, 2026, deposited directly into the new U18 current account. Here's a step-by-step guide to securing the bonus:

  1. If you don't already have one, open a current account with DKB.
  2. Apply for both the U18 current account and U18 savings account by April 30, 2026, ensuring the accounts are fully opened by May 31, 2026.
  3. During the application, all legal guardians and the child must complete identity verification.
  4. The €25 bonus will be credited to the U18 current account by June 15, 2026.
