Smena App Simplifies Discounts With One Subscription for All
A new mobile app called Smena is changing how people access discounts at local venues. Developed by a startup in Yakutsk, the platform won support from the B8 Accelerator’s 14th cohort. Users pay for a subscription and instantly unlock deals across multiple businesses without collecting points or waiting for cashback. Founder Yevgeny Bzhelenko created Smena to simplify discount hunting. The app operates on a paid membership system, offering three tiers: Standard, VIP, and Platinum. Each subscription covers all partner venues, so users only need one plan to access deals everywhere.
Businesses can list their details in the app at no cost. When customers visit, discounts appear immediately in the app—no points or delayed rewards. The company plans to roll out first in Yakutsk before expanding to Vladivostok, Tyumen, and Anapa in the coming months.
Smena’s model removes the hassle of loyalty schemes by providing instant savings through a single subscription. The app’s free listing option also helps local businesses attract customers. With backing from the B8 Accelerator, the startup is now preparing for its first launch in Yakutsk.
