In the first quarter, SberInsurance paid out 1.8 billion rubles to corporate clients—a 2.7-fold increase compared to the same period last year. The company's premiums from business programs (excluding voluntary health insurance, auto insurance, and employee accident coverage) totaled 4.6 billion rubles.
The largest share of payouts—28% (510.3 million rubles)—went to clients under financial risk insurance programs, including trade credit and bank guarantees. Agro-insurance ranked second, with 480.8 million rubles (27%) disbursed, followed by property protection at 444.4 million rubles (25%).
Nearly a third of first-quarter payouts—637.4 million rubles—went to companies in Moscow, while clients in Rostov Oblast received 374.4 million rubles. Krasnoyarsk Krai also made the top regions, with payouts of 189.6 million rubles. In Moscow, most claims (68%) were tied to financial risks, whereas in Rostov Oblast, agro-insurance dominated (91%). In Krasnoyarsk Krai, nearly all payouts (97%) were linked to property insurance.
