On May 9, 2025, the mayor of Omsk, Sergei Shelest, has revealed the operation plan for buses following the end of the Victory Day parade. Here's what you need to know.
First, starting at 4 PM on May 9, 2025, after the "Immortal Regiment" march concludes, a municipal public transport fleet of 14 vehicles will be stationed at the "Circus" stop. More details about the routes, directions, and exact number of buses can be found in the attached map.
Following the Victory Day festivities, municipal public transport will also support the transportation of participants.
In addition, extra buses and trolleybuses will be deployed on May 9 at 9:45 PM to the "Pushkin Library" and "Hospital" stations. Special departures from the "Mayakovsky KDCC" and "Hospital" stops will begin at 10 PM, and routes will again be determined by vehicle occupancy.
However, unlike other celebratory occasions, bus rides won't be free. Fare collection will follow regular city tariffs, maintain current discounts, and respect all existing privileges.
