28,000 Khabarovsk Children to Enjoy Free Summer Camps in 2026

Over 28,000 children in Khabarovsk Krai will attend free summer camps and day programmes in 2026. The scheme supports families of military personnel, low-income households, and children with disabilities. Vouchers are allocated based on application order, with priority given to those most in need. The initiative is part of the Family national project, offering free recreation and health services. Eligible groups include children of special military operation participants, those with disabilities, and families on low incomes. Priority is given to children of killed or wounded service members.

Vouchers cover stays at camps and sanatoriums across Khabarovsk, Primorsky Krais, and Amur Oblast. For children with disabilities, the regional budget funds accommodation, meals, and transport for 12 days. Travel costs are also reimbursed for those attending specialised programmes. So far, 889 children with specific health needs have received sanatorium vouchers. Those who miss out this year remain on the waiting list for 2027. Residents can contact the Khabarovsk Krai Ministry of Social Protection for details on required documents.

The programme ensures thousands of children access summer recreation without cost. Free transport, meals, and accommodation are provided for eligible groups. Families can apply through the regional social protection office for support.
