Zepz Launches Stablecoin Wallet for Faster Global Remittances in 100+ Countries
Zepz, the global payments group behind WorldRemit and Sendwave, has expanded its services with a new stablecoin wallet. Launched in October 2025, the Sendwave Wallet allows users to send and store USDC across over 100 countries. The move comes as part of a wider push to enhance digital remittance options for its 9 million customers. Zepz has partnered with TRM Labs to strengthen financial crime controls within its stablecoin offering. The collaboration began in April 2025, focusing on designing compliance measures for Zepz's digital asset products. TRM's blockchain intelligence tools will now be embedded into the Sendwave Wallet, enabling real-time monitoring and risk management.
Zepz processes over $17 billion in transfers annually, serving customers in more than 130 countries. The integration of TRM's technology aims to help the company scale its stablecoin services while managing illicit activity, sanctions risks, and anti-money laundering (AML) compliance. Zaheer Jassat, VP of Product at Zepz, highlighted that the partnership reinforces their ability to maintain strong safeguards as they expand.
Will Bell, Business Lead at TRM Labs, noted that their platform supports organisations in scaling digital asset products while meeting regulatory standards. The Sendwave Wallet's launch marks Zepz's latest step in leveraging stablecoins for faster, more secure cross-border payments. The Sendwave Wallet is now available to users in over 100 countries, offering a new way to transfer and store USDC. With TRM's blockchain intelligence integrated into its systems, Zepz aims to ensure compliance and security as it grows its stablecoin services. The move reflects broader trends in using digital assets for remittances and financial transactions.
