YouTuber flips four cars in 30 days—here’s how he made $6,480
A YouTuber known as WL Media recently took on a month-long challenge to flip cars for extra income. Over 30 days, he bought and sold four vehicles, turning a profit on each one. His experiment revealed both successes and lessons about the car-flipping business.
The first car was a 2021 Subaru Impreza, purchased for $4,850 and sold for $6,500. This deal set a strong start, netting a profit of $1,650. Next came a 2005 Lexus ES330 with a salvage title, bought for $2,100 and sold for $3,000. The sale proved slower due to the salvage status, teaching him a key lesson: avoid such titles unless the price is unusually low.
The third vehicle, a 1993 Ford F350, became the most profitable flip. Bought for $2,000, it sold for $5,000, earning him $2,480. His final purchase was a 2006 Jaguar S-Type, acquired for $3,500 and resold for $5,000. Each transaction added to his growing experience in the trade.
By the end of the month, he had completed four flips and made a total profit of $6,480. The process highlighted the importance of vehicle condition and market demand in determining profitability.
WL Media’s experiment showed that flipping cars can generate quick profits, but success depends on careful selection. Salvage titles posed challenges, while well-chosen models like the Ford F350 delivered the highest returns. His 30-day effort confirmed that research and timing play crucial roles in this side hustle.
