Yakutia's 'New Year Gifts' Campaign Brings Joy to Arctic Children

Entrepreneurs in Yakutia have launched the 'New Year Gifts - to the Children of the Arctic' campaign for the second year running. The initiative aims to bring joy to children in the Arctic and northern regions, drawing attention to their needs. The first gifts have already reached the Allakhovsky district and the village of Topolinoe in the Tomponsky district.

The campaign, organised by the Yakut branch of the public organisation 'OPORA RUSSIA', has seen local businesses contribute generously. Although the participating small business ideas are not publicly listed, some known donors include 'Elekom', 'Uutum', 'Intechstroy', and IP Ulyana Megina. These businesses, along with many others, have provided gift sets mainly consisting of sweets, as perishable items are avoided during transport.

The local administrations have lent a helping hand, assisting in the delivery of these gift sets to the children. Alexander Arinosov, the co-chairman of the Yakut branch of 'OPORA RUSSIA', has expressed his gratitude to all involved and encouraged more businesses to join the cause. Those interested in contributing can contact him directly.

The 'New Year Gifts - to the Children of the Arctic' campaign continues to make a difference in the lives of children in the Arctic and northern regions. With the support of local businesses and administrations, the initiative aims to bring happiness and draw attention to the needs of these children. The campaign welcomes further participation from those who wish to contribute.
