Worldline has renewed its long-term partnership with ABN AMRO to provide payment services in the Netherlands. The agreement covers card issuing, personalisation, and instant payments, ensuring the bank's customers receive modern and reliable solutions. By March 2026, the company will also work with over 20 other Dutch banks, including ING and Rabobank, to deliver similar services.

The extended collaboration builds on Worldline's existing relationship with ABN AMRO. Under the new deal, the firm will manage key payment functions such as SEPA Credit Transfers, Instant Payments, and customer support. Its technology platform is designed to be future-proof, helping the bank maintain efficient and up-to-date services.

Erica Kostelijk, Head of Product Unit Transaction Banking at ABN AMRO, highlighted the importance of reliability in the partnership. She noted that the updated systems would ensure smooth transactions for customers. Meanwhile, Madalena Cascais Tomé, Chief Processing and Financial Institutions at Worldline, expressed pride in continuing the collaboration. Beyond ABN AMRO, Worldline's payment infrastructure now supports a growing list of Dutch financial institutions. This includes major names like ING, Rabobank, Bunq, and partners of Adyen. The expansion reflects the company's aim to standardise payment solutions across the market.

The renewed agreement strengthens ABN AMRO's payment capabilities while extending Worldline's reach in the Netherlands. With over 20 banks now using its services, the company is positioned to play a central role in the country's financial infrastructure. The partnership focuses on maintaining secure, efficient, and forward-looking payment systems.
