Wolf Theiss Bolsters Polish Antitrust Team with Two Senior Hires

Warsaw. Law firm Wolf Theiss has brought Mikołaj Piaskowski and Michał Derdak on board to strengthen its Polish Competition & Antitrust team.

Mikołaj Piaskowski (Partner) and Michał Derdak (Counsel) have joined the competition law practice of the Vienna-headquartered commercial law firm in Warsaw. The appointments are set to bolster the firm's competition and antitrust advisory services in Poland and across the wider CEE/SEE region, according to a statement.

Career Backgrounds

Piaskowski brings over 25 years of experience in merger control, antitrust, consumer protection, and state aid. He previously held senior roles at international law firms in Poland, including Baker McKenzie. Michał Derdak, who joined Wolf Theiss in March, has more than 20 years of expertise in competition and consumer law.
