Welding and Gas Sectors Experienced Resurgence in Q2; Growth Perspective Improves Significantly
Barid/our Releases Q2 2025 AWS and Industrial Gas Survey Results
Barid/our has recently unveiled the findings from its Q2 2025 AWS and Industrial Gas Survey. Conducted among 13 respondents from industrial gas and AWS equipment distributors and manufacturers, the survey indicates a positive trend for both AWS hardgoods and industrial gas sales.
For the industrial gas sector, sales increased by 4.9% in Q2, up from 4.5% in Q1. This growth continues the positive momentum seen in the industry, suggesting a continued recovery. Similarly, the sales of AWS hardgoods improved by 2.4% in Q2, marking a significant turnaround from the 3.5% decline observed in Q1. This improvement indicates a recovery in the AWS hardgoods sector.
The Q2 2025 AWS and Industrial Gas Survey is the second survey conducted by Barid/our. The respondents were primarily based in the United States, with minimal operations in Canada. The survey was conducted on the Barid/our website.
The Q2 2025 AWS and Industrial Gas Survey results indicate a positive trend for both AWS hardgoods and industrial gas sales. Compared to the same period last year, revenues for AWS Hardware and Industrial Gas have increased. This growth is promising for both industries, signaling a potential for continued growth in the coming quarters.
