Weight Watchers now offers GLP-1 medication access alongside behavioral support

Weight Watchers has expanded its services to include clinical interventions and access to GLP-1 medications in the U.S. The move comes as the company adapts to a shifting market where competitors have gained ground by offering similar drug-based solutions. Known for its science-backed approach, the company continues to provide a mix of behavioural support, medical expertise, and community guidance.

For decades, Weight Watchers has been recognised as the most studied commercial weight management programme worldwide. Its methods combine scientific research, technology, and human connection to help members achieve long-term health goals. The company also offers a global network of coaches and a supportive community, ensuring members receive both professional and peer encouragement.

Recently, the rise of GLP-1 medications from pharmaceutical giants like Novo Nordisk and Eli Lilly reshaped the weight management industry. Competitors such as Noom quickly integrated these drugs into their programmes, while Weight Watchers initially relied on its traditional behavioural model. In response, the company began incorporating clinical interventions and GLP-1 access in 2024 and 2025. These services are now available directly to individuals or through Weight Watchers for Business, a platform designed for employers, health plans, and insurance providers.

The company will release its fourth-quarter and full-year 2025 financial results on March 16, 2026. A conference call to discuss the performance will take place at 8:30 a.m. ET the same day. Investors and the public can access a live webcast via the corporate website under Events and Presentations.

Weight Watchers now provides a broader range of options, from behavioural programmes to medication-supported plans. The company's approach remains rooted in research, empathy, and a focus on long-term well-being. Financial updates and further details on its strategy will be shared during the upcoming earnings call in March 2026.
