Waters Corp. to Report Q3 Earnings: Analysts Expect Profit Growth

Waters Corporation (WAT), a global leader in analytical instruments and laboratory technologies, is set to announce its fiscal Q3 earnings for 2025 on Tuesday, Nov. 4. The company, valued at a market cap of $21.4 billion, has consistently beaten Wall Street's bottom-line estimates in each of the last four quarters.

Analysts expect WAT to report a profit of $3.21 per share in Q3 2025, up 9.6% from $2.93 per share in the year-ago quarter. For fiscal 2025, they anticipate a profit of $12.99 per share, representing a 9.5% increase from $11.86 per share in fiscal 2024. Looking ahead, EPS is expected to grow 9.2% year-over-year to $14.18 in fiscal 2026.

Despite better-than-expected Q2 adjusted EPS of $2.95 and revenue of $771.3 million, shares of WAT plunged 1.6% on Aug. 4 due to concerns over its planned acquisition of BDX's biosciences and diagnostics unit. However, over the past 52 weeks, WAT's shares have outpaced the Health Care Select Sector SPDR Fund's 2.3% downtick, though they have underperformed the S&P 500 Index's 16.9% return.

Wall Street analysts have a moderately optimistic outlook for WAT's stock, with an overall 'Moderate Buy' rating, and a mean price target of $362.36. As WAT continues to innovate and expand its offerings in industries such as pharmaceuticals, life sciences, food and beverage, and environmental testing, investors await the upcoming earnings report to gauge the company's progress.
