VUMC to Fully Acquire Tennova Healthcare-Clarksville for $600M

Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) is set to become the full owner of Tennova Healthcare-Clarksville. VUMC currently holds a 20% stake in the hospital, which it acquired in October 2020 for nonprofit purposes.

The 270-bed Clarksville hospital and its related facilities were previously owned by Community Health Systems (CHS). In a recent announcement, CHS revealed the sale of its 80% ownership interest to VUMC.
