Vinted Users Struggle to Access Cash Due to Payment Delays
Vinted users have been left frustrated this week as they've been unable to access their cash from sales on the reselling app. The issue has been reported on Downdetector over the last three days, with hundreds of users affected. The problem lies with Vinted's payments provider, Mangopay, which has been causing temporary delays in transfers. Affected users have taken to social media to express their frustration, with some reporting a 'pending balance' issue. While there's no information about a specific number of users affected recently, this is not the first time Vinted has experienced payment-related issues. Previous outages and glitches were reported in April, March, September, and May. Vinted allows users to buy and sell second-hand clothes and accessories, with sellers earning money that goes into their Vinted Wallet, which can then be withdrawn to their bank account. Selling on Vinted can be a significant source of extra cash for some users. The current issue is limited to Vinted and does not impact other platforms. Vinted has acknowledged the issue and is working to resolve it. Users are advised to keep an eye on Vinted's official channels for updates. In the meantime, those affected are encouraged to be patient as the platform works to rectify the payment delays.
