Vietnamese Engineer Builds Quantum-Proof Cybersecurity Platform in Just Eight Months
A Vietnamese software engineer has built a new cybersecurity platform designed to resist future quantum computing threats. Nguyen Xuan Dong developed VRadar, a cloud-based Security Operations Center (SOC) platform, in just eight months with the help of AI tools. The system now offers post-quantum encryption to protect small and medium-sized businesses across Southeast Asia. VRadar combines 41 backend modules, five AI-driven agents, and multi-tenant support to handle security threats automatically. It also integrates four payment gateways, making it easier for businesses to subscribe. Pricing starts at $25 per device per month, targeting firms that need enterprise-level protection without high costs.
The platform uses NIST-approved post-quantum algorithms to guard against 'Harvest Now, Decrypt Later' attacks. For key exchange, it relies on ML-KEM-768, while digital signatures are secured with ML-DSA-65. These methods are built to resist decryption attempts from future quantum computers. Additional layers include AES-256-GCM encryption and quantum random number generation for stronger data protection.
During a 34-day trial, VRadar processed 1.35 million real security alerts. The system resolved 91% of these incidents without human intervention. Its log transport system, now patent-pending, ensures that even stored data remains secure against emerging threats. VRadar is one of the first SOC platforms in production to implement post-quantum cryptography at scale. The technology aims to provide long-term security for businesses facing evolving digital risks. With its AI-driven automation and affordable pricing, the platform could change how smaller companies defend against advanced cyber threats.
