Vertiv Names Scott Armul as New Chief Product & Tech Officer

Vertiv has announced Scott Armul as its new Chief Product and Technology Officer, effective January 1, 2026. The appointment comes as part of a leadership transition following the retirement of current CTO Stephen Liang.

Armul will oversee the Technology Office, in addition to leading engineering research and development and Vertiv's business units. This expanded role aims to strengthen the connection between technology development and business strategy, aligning with evolving customer needs. Gio Albertazzi, CEO of Vertiv, praised Liang's contributions to the company's technology strategy and innovation. Liang, who has been instrumental in shaping Vertiv's technological vision since his earlier roles at Emerson, will retire on January 1, 2026.

Scott Armul's appointment as Chief Product and Technology Officer at Vertiv reflects the company's commitment to internal talent development and a high-performance culture. His expanded role will help drive technology development in line with business strategy, supporting Vertiv's continued growth and innovation.
