Today's Wordle Origin

The word "dopey" stems from the Dutch word "dovogeit," which translates to "stupid ox." It later evolved into its Modern English form, which means someone who is dazed, foolish, or silly. Originally, it was associated with being confused or disoriented. It also happens to be the name of one of the dwarfs from the classic Disney film "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs."
