The Episcopal Diocese of Rhode Island has received a grant from Trinity Church Wall Street, an Episcopal parish in New York City, to explore development opportunities for the centrally located diocesan property in Providence.

The grant aims to support a comprehensive feasibility study, focusing on the potential development of underutilized parcels within the property for housing. The Partnership for Sacred Places has been selected to guide this discernment process for the future use of the Cathedral of St. John.
