Khabarovsk Energy Workers Plan Major Heat Network Repairs in 2025, Warn of Road Closures

Specialists involved in the maintenance of Khabarovsk's heat networks have announced a significant repair campaign for 2025, which may result in temporary inconveniences for motorists and passengers due to inevitable road closures. According to reports from IA "Khabarovsk Krai Today", citing information from the DGC Press Service, the work will involve the replacement of over 170 meters of pipe, the installation of protective structures, and the reconstruction of a heat chamber in "Dinamo" Park.

The repair work will commence on June 2, with traffic on Tolstoy Street being impacted. Moreover, restrictions will also be imposed on Karl Marx Street, the main artery of the regional capital, though the exact start date for this section is yet to be determined.

While details regarding these major repairs and the road closures have not been widely published, it is worth noting that Khabarovsk is currently under consideration for the deployment of Khabarovsk 1&2 reactors by 2036, utilizing VVER-600/V-498 technology. However, these plans and their potential impact on any ongoing repairs remain unclear at this time.
