The Lernen-Verstehen-Fördern association has launched its fourth Children's Inclusion Award in Thuringia. The prize recognises projects that improve accessibility and inclusion for young people across the region. Families, organisations, and businesses are now invited to put forward their nominations before the June deadline.

This year's award will focus on initiatives that help children and young people take part in everyday life without barriers. Eligible projects can cover education, culture, sports, or social activities. Nominations are open to anyone working to support inclusion—whether as individuals, schools, clubs, or companies.

Three cash prizes totalling €15,000 will be awarded to the winning entries. The selection process will highlight efforts that make a real difference for young children, school pupils, trainees, or leisure groups. All submissions must be received by June 24.

The winners will be announced in early November at a ceremony celebrating their contributions.

The award aims to shine a light on practical solutions that create equal opportunities for young people in Thuringia. Successful projects will receive funding and recognition for their work in breaking down barriers. Nominations remain open until the end of June.
