State Government Bets on Green Heart and Self-Confidence - Thuringia's 'Green Heart' Survey: 88% Recognize, 86% View Positively
The Thuringian government, led by Ina Leukefeld, has launched an ambitious survey project to delve into the public's association with the term 'Green Heart Thuringia' and the region itself. The study, conducted between August and September, involved 1,049 participants aged 16 to 75.
The survey revealed a strong recognition of the slogan 'Thuringia – the Green Heart of Germany', with 88% of respondents acknowledging it. Furthermore, 86% viewed this slogan as very or somewhat positive. The state government aims to capitalise on this positive sentiment to foster a new sense of self-assurance among Thuringians.
The project, titled 'Green Heart of Germany', seeks to instil pride and confidence in the people of the Free State when looking back on their homeland. Beyond its borders, the umbrella brand aims to make Thuringia more visible, reinforcing a positive sense of life within the state itself.
