The Landshut District, located in Bavaria, Germany, has announced its intention to award a public service contract (PSC) for bus traffic services on regional line 405. The contract period for this PSC is from February 14, 2026, to February 13, 2031.

The Landshut District, serving as the transport authority and responsible authority for this PSC, aims to ensure adequate transport services on line 405 in the southern district of Landshut. The regional bus line 405 runs from Velden to Vilsbiburg, passing through Bodenkirchen and Bonbruck.

The PSC is for public passenger transport services using motor vehicles and is pursuant to Section 2(1) PBefG, Article 8(1) and (2) of the Bavarian Passenger Transport Act, Section 8a PBefG, and Article 2(c) of Regulation (EC) No 1370/2007.

A preliminary notice for the PSC has been published in the Official Journal of the European Union, and the route relation for the regional bus line 405 is from Velden via Bodenkirchen and Bonbruck to Vilsbiburg.

The PSC is for regular services on the regional bus line 405, as indicated in the preliminary notice. A timetable for the regional bus line 405 is provided in the supplementary document, along with the route profile of the regional bus line 405. The route profile is part of the supplementary information.

The Technical Annex to the Data Transfer Agreement (DTA) for DEFAS Bayern is also included in the preliminary notice. The contract period for the PSC, as previously stated, is from February 14, 2026, to February 13, 2031.

This PSC is a significant step towards enhancing public transportation in the Landshut District, providing residents and visitors with reliable and efficient services on regional bus line 405.
