Tesla Expands Presence in India with Delhi Showroom and Supercharger Site

Tesla has made a significant move in the Indian market with the opening of its second showroom and Supercharger site in Delhi's Aerocity. The new facility, which houses the first Supercharger station in Delhi, is part of Tesla's expansion in India, following its Indian debut in Mumbai last month.

The showroom at Worldmark 3 in Aerocity opened on August 11, 2025, and customers can book the Model Y in Delhi, Mumbai, and Gurugram. Deliveries of the Model Y are set to begin in September 2025, within the third quarter of 2025.

On display at the center is the Model Y, available in two variants - Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) and Long Range RWD. The RWD variant comes with a 60 kWh battery, while the Long Range RWD variant boasts a 75 kWh battery. Prices start at ₹59.89 lakh for the RWD variant and ₹67.89 lakh for the Long Range RWD, ex-showroom.

Tesla is also expanding its Supercharger network in Delhi-NCR, with 16 superchargers planned across areas including Aerocity, Saket, Golf Course Road, and Noida. This expansion complements the showroom launch and deliveries.

The Supercharger station at the Aerocity facility features four V4 Superchargers capable of delivering up to 250 kW. Tesla has also secured a 33,000 sq. ft. space in Gurugram's Orchid Business Park to serve as a delivery and service hub.

The company is positioning itself to capture high-end buyers and early adopters in regions with the strongest infrastructure and EV readiness by targeting India's two largest metro markets first - Mumbai in the west and Delhi in the north.

The Tesla Experience Center Aerocity offers visitors an up-close look at the company's electric vehicles and technology. Both Model Y variants are imported from Tesla's Shanghai Gigafactory.

Tesla entered the Indian market on July 15, 2025, with the opening of its Mumbai showroom. The company's expansion in India is a testament to its commitment to bringing electric vehicles to more parts of the world. With the Delhi Aerocity showroom and Supercharger site, Tesla is set to make a strong impact in the Indian market.
