Telenor & Vodafone Team Up to Save Billions in Global Procurement

Telenor and Vodafone have joined forces in a strategic partnership, combining their global procurement organizations. This collaboration aims to leverage their collective scale and capabilities across key procurement areas.

The partnership, led by Ninian Wilson from Vodafone and Thomas Skjelbred from Telenor, seeks to create value for customers and unlock savings through combined purchasing power. With a combined annual spend of over €26 billion, the two companies aim to increase efficiency and strengthen supply chain resilience.

Both Wilson and Skjelbred expressed excitement about the collaboration. Wilson, Supply Chain Management Director at Vodafone Group, sees potential benefits for customers, suppliers, and partners. Skjelbred, Group Chief Procurement Officer at Telenor Group, expects the partnership to increase value for shareholders and customers.

Together, Telenor and Vodafone serve over 550 million customers across 23 countries. Their commitment to responsible and sustainable business practices will extend to this partnership, promoting high standards of environmental and social responsibility within their supply chains.
