TBC Bank sweeps four Euromoney Awards for Excellence in 2024
TBC Bank has secured four major awards at the Euromoney Awards for Excellence, recognising its leadership in personal and premium banking. The Georgian bank stood out for its digital innovation, customer service, and financial performance. Giorgi Tkhelidze, CEO of TBC, congratulated the teams on their achievements.
TBC Bank first launched personal banking services in Georgia in 2006. Since then, the sector has expanded rapidly, with TBC leading in digital innovation and market share. By 2023, the bank had outpaced regional competitors in Armenia and Azerbaijan by broadening its retail offerings and adopting fintech solutions.
The *Euromoney* awards assess financial institutions on performance, customer strategy, innovation, and service quality. TBC's high-net-worth client service won 'Best High-Net-Worth Client Service in Georgia', while its premium banking service took 'Best Premium Banking Service in Georgia'. The bank's personal banking division also earned 'Best Personal Banking Service in Georgia' and the top regional prize, 'Best Personal Banking Service in Central and Eastern Europe'. TBC Concept, the bank's innovation arm, focuses on creating products that simplify daily life for customers. Alongside WM (Wealth Management), it contributed to the four awards received this year. The bank's services now meet international standards, positioning it among the region's leading financial institutions.
The awards highlight TBC's growth since 2006 and its dominance in digital banking. The bank's focus on innovation and customer-centric services has strengthened its position in Georgia and beyond. These accolades follow years of expanding retail products and adopting advanced financial technology.
