Tanium now supports Apple devices with AI-powered management tools

Tanium, an American enterprise software company, has expanded its platform to support Apple devices. The update now allows businesses to manage iPhones, iPads, and the Vision Pro headset directly within Tanium’s existing system. The announcement also includes new AI-powered tools designed to simplify device control and monitoring.

The integration uses Apple’s Mobile Device Management (MDM) tools to bring iOS and iPadOS devices into Tanium’s endpoint management platform. Administrators can now handle iPhones and iPads in bulk, applying the same level of control as with other endpoints. Features like remote lock, wipe, and restart are available, along with configuration profiles and automated updates.

The changes mean businesses can now manage Apple devices through a single platform, reducing complexity. Tanium’s AI tools and bulk management features aim to improve efficiency for IT teams. The company’s roadmap suggests further integration with third-party systems and broader device support in the coming months.
