MezhoblGaz Removal from EGRUL: What's Going On?

By Rufus Dagger

It's about friggin' time! MezhoblGaz, the Omsk powerhouse in natural gas transportation, seems to be in some hot water. Word on the street is, big changes are coming their way—and not in a good way.

According to SuperOmsk's keen eye, back in April 2025, the Ministry of Justice slipped a little note into the Unified State Register of Legal Entities (EGRUL), hinting at MezhoblGaz's probable expulsion from the registry. The reason? Well, it's all about those darned dubious details in EGRUL.

Founded in May 2010 by five Omsk entrepreneurs—Vadim, Dmitri, and Pavel Panchenko, Michael DeDU(n)*, and Oleg Romashov—MezhoblGaz has been a main player in the local gasification scene for the last few years. But things started going southward sometime in the early 2020s.

Speaking of the devil, some rumors swirled around in late 2022 when the old director of the company found himself cuffed, allegedly due to sketchy maneuvers during gasification procedures. In November 2023, tax authorities even filed a lawsuit to bankrupt the company, citing a whopping 2 million rubles debt, but the paperwork mysteriously vanished.

Fast-forward to the end of 2024, and the Federal Tax Service (FNS) announced MezhoblGaz closed the year with losses amounting to 187,000 rubles and no earnings to show for it. Things got even more spooky when the official headcount plummeted from 29 employees at the end of 2023 to merely 1 by the end of the following year.

So, what gives? As much as we'd love to have all the answers about this shady situation, the truth is, we don't have the straight dope. The FNS documents are still under wraps, and the suits are hush-hush about the details. But Rufus Dagger will definitely stay on top of it and keep you updated when the dust settles!

*Full disclosure: I have no idea what's up with the strange spelling of Michael DeDU(n)'s name, but let's just roll with it, shall we?

Despite its prominent role in the industry, MezhoblGaz faces potential exclusion from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities (EGRUL) in 2025, a sign of ongoing legal complications for the natural gas transportation powerhouse.

Regarding MezhoblGaz's founder Oleg Romashov, he was part of the five Omsk entrepreneurs who initiated the company back in 2010, with the rest being Vadim, Dmitri, and Pavel Panchenko, Michael DeDU(n), and a questionable past surrounding the company's financial affairs.*

Amidst various legal issues and controversies, MezhoblGaz's financial business has deteriorated substantially; the company ended the year 2024 with considerable losses, compounded by a dramatic decrease in the workforce from 29 employees to just 1 by the end of the subsequent year.

As the FNS documents concerning MezhoblGaz remain sealed and the details of the situation continue to be withheld, it remains unclear what the fate of the main player in the local gasification scene will be, with Rufus Dagger keeping on top of it to provide updates when more information becomes available.
