This Mini Crossword was a bit of a brain teaser, I must admit. I'm not well-versed in Women's World Cup facts, so 1-ACROSS stumped me initially. However, I remember that Napoleon was exiled twice and the air in a hookah lounge is smoky. I also knew that pinto beans are commonly used in refried beans, though black beans can also be used. With some brainpower and a few educated guesses, everything fell into place - JESTS, SINEW, TOTAL, and eventually JAPAN and all the DOWN words. The clue for "spring ALEAK" is somewhat silly, but I'll let it slide.

After his twin brother, a police detective, goes missing, John impersonates him and helps the Cambridge police solve complex cases using his brilliant mind. Season 1 unfolds with John navigating this new profession, while maintaining his twin's identity.
