Stolen Ram HEMI Vehicle Recovered
The "Bucking HEMI" mechanical bull, a unique promotional item from Ram, has returned to its rightful place following an incident at the Roadkill Nights event in Pontiac, Michigan.
The "Bucking HEMI," designed to resemble a ram's head and symbolize the brand's power, made its debut at the Michigan International Speedway on June 8, 2025, marking Ram's return to NASCAR. It was intended to promote the brand's V-8-powered vehicles, specifically those adorned with the "Symbol of Protest" badge.
On August 9, during the disassembly of the event, there was a misunderstanding that led to the removal of the "Bucking HEMI." Contrary to initial reports of theft, it was later clarified that an employee from one of the event contractors mistakenly took the bull during the cleanup.
The Oakland County Sheriff's Office confirmed that there was no theft involved, and the situation was resolved when the bull was returned to Ram. The incident caused a brief period of uncertainty, lasting 67 hours, before the "Bucking HEMI" was back in its usual spot.
Ram issued a statement thanking everyone who helped bring the mechanical bull back, expressing their gratitude for the assistance. The value of the "Bucking HEMI" is estimated to be around $34,000.
