Stobart Europe Expands in Automotive Logistics with Suloja Merger

Stobart Europe, operating under the Stobart Automotive division, has expanded its reach in the European automotive logistics sector. The company, which previously traded as Walon, has merged with Suloja to create a more streamlined transport network. This move is expected to benefit both employees and customers.

Stobart Automotive, which operates in Belgium, the Czech Republic, and the Netherlands, uses a fleet of 100 car transporters. The division offers a range of services, including storage, pre-delivery inspections, and remarketing. Following the merger with Suloja, the company now has a stronger presence in the European market.

Suloja, with a fleet of 20 transporters, transported over 35,000 vehicles in 2021. This generated €6.8m ($7.4m) in turnover for the company. The acquisition by Stobart Europe is seen as a strategic move to enhance its position in the European automotive logistics sector.

The merger of Stobart Europe and Suloja is expected to create a more efficient transport network, benefiting both companies and their customers. With Stobart Automotive's extensive operations and Suloja's proven track record, the combined entity is well-positioned to serve the European automotive market.
