Stellantis Names Joao Laranjo as New CFO

Stellantis has named Joao Laranjo as its new Chief Financial Officer and member of the Stellantis Leadership Team, effective immediately. Laranjo succeeds Doug Ostermann, who left the company for personal reasons.

Laranjo brings over 20 years of experience in finance and auditing to his new role. He began his career at General Electric in 2001, working his way up to become a controller for GE Healthcare in South America. In 2009, he joined Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) as Chief Accounting Officer for Latin America, later becoming the CFO of the region.

After a stint at Goodyear as Vice President of Finance, Laranjo returned to Stellantis in early 2024 as CFO for North America. In 2017, he took on the role of CFO of Stellantis North America. Laranjo's appointment follows his significant contributions to the financial transformation and regional growth of FCA in Latin America. He holds an MBA from IBMEC in Brazil and completed the Advanced Finance Program at the Wharton School.

Joao Laranjo's extensive experience in financial strategy, planning, and operational excellence in an international setting makes him a valuable addition to Stellantis' leadership team. His appointment is expected to further strengthen the company's financial position.
