Sparkassenstiftung Launches 2025 'Modern Heimat' Competition for Non-Profits
The Sparkassenstiftung is inviting associations and institutions to present their projects and goals on its website, www.sparkasse-ourx.de/stiftung. The theme for 2025 is 'Modern Heimat - more than a feeling', with a deadline of November 9. The foundation aims to support social and non-profit projects that strengthen life in the region.
The Sparkassenstiftung, established in 2024, offers a competition to support people and projects with a broad purpose. Projects must have recognized non-profit status, be regionally limited, and have a duration of six to twelve months. The foundation chairperson, Indra Baier-Mueller, wants to foster ideas and support associations.
The jury, composed of members from the Sparkassen-Stiftung Groß-Gerau, the two Sänger (choral) districts Groß-Gerau and Mainspitze, and the cultural office of the Groß-Gerau district, will evaluate all submitted applications at the end of November. Birgit Pfeifer, deputy chairperson of Sparkasse Allgaeu, explains the aim to make volunteering visible and support future-fit projects. The jury will award a foundation prize worth 50,000 euros in three categories.
