Spain’s electric heater exports hit record highs despite domestic slump in 2024
Spain’s electric heating equipment sector saw mixed results in 2024. While exports surged to record levels, both production and domestic consumption fell. The market also faced a decline in import volumes and lower average export prices compared to the previous year.
Exports of electric heating equipment from Spain climbed sharply in 2024, reaching $X in value. The volume of shipped units also rose by X% over 2023, signalling strong international demand. France, Portugal, and the UK remained the top destinations, collectively accounting for X% of total exports.
The data highlights a contrasting picture for Spain’s electric heating sector. Exports thrived, but domestic production and consumption weakened. With lower import volumes and reduced export prices, the industry faces shifting dynamics in both supply and demand.
