So, who's this man taking the reins? Shri Sanjay Khanna is a seasoned pro with over 3 decades of experience under his belt, specializing in refinery operations and technical services. A graduate from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirapalli, with a postgraduate degree in Finance Management from Mumbai University, Shri Khanna has a proven track record of success.
Shri Sanjay Khanna has anchored numerous prestigious projects for setting up new process units in Refineries at Mumbai, Kochi, and Numaligarh. Prior to stepping into his new role as CMD, Shri Khanna led BPCL's Kochi and Mumbai Refineries, spearheading modernization efforts and expansion initiatives. As the Executive Director of Kochi Refinery, he played a key role in the commissioning of the first 'Niche Petrochemical' project of BPCL, known as the Propylene Derivative Petrochemical Project (PDPP).
Shri Sanjay Khanna also brings valuable experience to the table, serving as a Director on the Boards of Bharat Petro Resources Limited and Ratnagiri Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited. On top of that, he holds the position of Chairperson of the "Technical Committee for Petroleum Refineries" under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas (MoPNG).
